Tourism South East - Distinctive Country Inns brochure
A pocket sized guide highlighting numerous character inns throughout  the South East of England, each one a great way of taking a short  break - ideal locations, charming facilities. The Inns all have rural  charm mixed with contemporary style - open fires, oak beams and home  cooked food sit alongside modern facilities such as plasma screen  TVs. The twenty page guide also contains an illustrated map with a full listing of the "distinctive inns".

What we wanted to achieve
The brochure had to change the usual perception of 'pub break', the  design also had to reflect the inns both contemporary and rural  style. We sourced various 'mood' photographs, highlighting the  various apects of the inns, log fires, fine dining and country walks.  We created a hand drawn font for the rural charm, then applied a more  modern one for contemporary style. With these elements and a very  clean and crisp style, we soon had the perfect blend of rural and  contemporary.
