In our constant quest to come up with something innovative for our clients
we discovered some information relating to the health benefits of beer.
There was a series of medically factual points that we brought into some new
advertising and marketing across the Gales brand. Under the tagline
'Vitamin (B)eer ... I'll drink to that' we launched a campaign that took the
Gales brand around the world.
What we wanted to achieve Gales beer has 100% totally natural ingredients. Armed now with
information such as "3 glasses of beer a day should reduce the risk of heart
attack by 25%" (source British Medical Journal), we decided to add a health
linked statement to each campaign to reinforce the natural appeal of Gales
beer.
Now we can prove that drinking beer has major health benefits to be gained
because of the antioxidants, nutrients and other natural components such as
vitamin B from the malted cereals.
The extensive campaign was launched to a massive response in fact the
advertising was picked up across the world by CNN, the BBC, Sky News, The
Daily Mirror and The Sun.
The Brewery were delighted with comments as far away as North Korea.
