We decided to split the main products into separate brand satellite sites where we could advertise and direct people to them specifically. The new Gales brand was an ideal start for this as we had just created all the launch marketing. |
What we wanted to achieve
We wanted to site to be more of a showcase rather than pages of factual information. The design was led by the gold wave we had worked into the launch ideas and we were able to use the nature photography.
The site has more fun attached to it than a hard sell, we wanted viewers to have fun on the site while being reminded of the brand. Using clever Flash animation we have pints emerging out of the floor and zipping across the bar.
The site has lots of interactivity with screen-savers and a fantastic darts game we designed and created totally in-house at Southbank. In fact this game has been a smash with Gales customers and our clients alike with 20,000 hits in the first week.....game on!
