Teaching today is a tough job in any school or college, but getting the good stories across so that they can help others is something that is not normally advertised, until now. We set about designing a website with full access to teachers where they could upload their own stories with pictures. |
What we wanted to achieve
The site needed to be clear in it's objective, so we built a search system, which allowed the user to search for an experience or related story. We also set up a system of codes where objectives were put into categories. These codes were set against the stories which were uploaded to the server by the teachers along with pictures.
We added a forum also for teachers to discuss issues with each other and the site has been responsible for bringing teachers together to discuss topics from taking students abroad to personal development. The site has been a great place where teachers can share their experiences and hopefully help other teachers deal with the same issues.
The domain was chosen out of a series we suggested, the site was implemented and managed by Southbank.
